Obituary for Linda Chavez

Linda Chavez
Linda Chavez, age 58, a resident of Belen, went peacefully with the Lord on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Linda was a woman who loved life and lived each day to the fullest. She was a Denver Broncos Super fan. There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her family and grandchildren. Those who knew Linda knew how much she loved food. She loved to eat and have family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Tafoya; brothers, Eddie Tafoya and Michael Tafoya; and sister, Patsy Vallejos.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Annette Chavez, Bryanna and her partner, Tony Padilla and Angelique and her partner, Kenneth Gallegos; brother, Gilbert Tafoya; sister, Viola Lopez; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; many nieces and nephews whom she adored dearly; and 3 especially close friends, Donna Cindy and Christina.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 19 at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel beginning at 5:00 PM, followed by the Rosary at 6:00 PM. A final viewing will be held on Thursday, April 20 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church beginning at 9:30 AM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W. Reinken Ave., (505)864-4448.
