I smile when I remember you. You Joseph, Natalie and I and others all learning and competing in our scholastic opportunities. We all knew each other almost all of our childhood days. Condolence: My condolences to the family of Mr. Chavez. He will always be in the memories of his students as being a great teacher, mentor, and friend. We had many good times at Reserve High School with Mr. Chavez, and I know we all miss the days when he would bring someone 'down to earth' with a witty comeback, or make a dramatic gesture when warranted. He taught me how to tie a tie in BPA, and inspired me to further my education in the business field. We will surely miss you M.C. Chavez!

Condolence: I was saddened to hear off the loss of such a wonderful man. Mr. Chavez was a realist who pushed each of his students to their full potential. His tough “no excuses” policy drove many of us into the business careers we have today. Even after graduating high school, he would occasionally text to ask not only how I was doing, but my entire family. He was a genuine man who will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace Mr. Chavez. Condolences to your family. God Bless.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Mr. Chavez' passing! I hadn't realized that he was so close in age to me. His job in Reserve must have been his first teaching job. I am forever grateful to him for teaching me how to type, and for the other skills we learned in putting together the yearbook, etc. Condolences to his family.

Condolence: Mr Chavez was not only an amazing teacher but a wonderful friend to all his students. Looking back I see he wanted the absolute best for every one of his students, as if we were his own kids. He was so very dedicated to each of us. I'm so grateful for all the wonderful memories of Mr Chavez. One memory was at National BPa Conference in California. No one could go to the California Adventure or Disneyland park and I couldn't go when everyone else was going so Mr Chavez took most the day to go with me we rode so many rides! I even have a picture of us on a roller coaster, the look on his face is priceless. He was the best to his students! We will pray for you all during this hard time. Gods love and grace are always with you.
