Obituary for Lole Silva

Lole Silva
Dolores Silva
Died 2017

On Sunday, Nov. 12, Dolores Silva went to be with the Lord. She passed away peacefully while surrounded by loved ones and in the care of the graceful staff at Good Life Senior Living in Los Lunas.
She was the daughter of Macedonio and Vicentita Baca. Dolores was born in Jarales, where she lived most of her life, met her husband, Abran Silva, and raised two children, Ronnie and Evelyn.
Dolores was a dedicated Catholic and spent her days serving the Lord and her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Abran; her sisters, Margaret Josephs and Lucy Garcia; and her brother, Manuel Baca.
She is survived by her children, Ronnie and Catherine Silva and Evelyn and Jerry Ortega; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters, Helen Chavez (Leo), Marina Griego (Moises) and Nattie Baca (Manuel); her brothers, Albino Baca (Helen) and Arsenio Baca (Rose Marie); and many nieces and nephews.
Services for Dolores will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, please consider a donation to the New Mexico chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. It would bless Dolores to know that others may receive help against such a devastating disease.
The family would love to express their gratitude to the loving caregivers, Carol Gonzales, and the people at Ambercare Hospice and Good Life Senior Living. You are all examples that there are angels here on Earth. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W. Reinken Ave., (505)864-4448,
