Obituary for Freddy Paiz

Freddy Paiz
FREDDY M. (BUDDY) PAIZ, 33, of Bosque Farms passed away suddenly on April 3, 2018. He was born in Albuquerque on June 3,1984 on the I25 Lomas off ramp to "Little Ralph" and Lorraine Sandoval Paiz. He was nicknamed Freeway Freddy by his father's musician friends due to the location of his birth. His family moved to Bosque Farms in 1994. He attended Manzano Vista Middle School and Los Lunas High School as well as UNM. Freddy was employed by Lovelace Medical Center as an Emergency Room Tech. Freddy was a third generation musician who played both the guitar and bass guitar. He was a fan of Buddy Holly from an early age. When he was in Kindergarten, he stood on the teacher's desk and sang "That'll Be the Day". Freddy had several passions in his life, but none greater that the love he had for his boys, Skyler, Christian, and Sagen. Freddy was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Paiz. He is survived by his parents, Ralph and Iva Paiz; his sons, Skyler Farber, Christian Farber-Paiz, and Sagen Farber. Also his best friend of 18 years and the mother of his sons Kristina Farber all of Bosque Farms. His siblings Benny Paiz, Carlos Paiz of Bosque Farms and Larry Paiz of Albuquerque. His half siblings Dorothy Ann Taylor, Joe Paiz, Martin Paiz, Frankie Paiz, and Bernadette LeDeau all of Albuquerque and step-brother Charles Johnson of Rio Rancho. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins plus special nephew and niece, Dominic Paiz, and Melody Paiz. Services will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87110, on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. A Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., with a Funeral Service to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. The family will also be holding a benefit dance in memory of Freddy on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the American Legion Post 99, 540 Louisiana Blvd., Albuquerque, NM, 87108, starting at 12:00 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Los Lunas Chapel, 2211-D Main St., (505) 866-9992.
