Ehor Gudz, age 63, passed away on May 23rd, 2018 in Los Lunas, NM and is now reunited with his mother, Anastasia; and his father, Dymtro.
Ehor was best described by those closest to him as a magnificently kind, caring, and light-hearted soul who never hesitated to help and provide guidance. He was selfless and patient, someone you could always count on to lend some sage advice, a tool from the workshop, or help with your Christmas lights. Ehor was the kind of husband, father, son, brother, neighbor, and community member that all of us could find comfort in throughout our own life journeys.
Ehor’s life journey is best characterized through his dedication and love for his family and his mastery of craftsmanship. This can be seen through his woodcraft, craft of comfort in learning a new trade or skill, or as said best by his co-workers "always provided and carried his team", which rings true for his family and with anyone whom he came in contact. He loved to travel, make memories, embraced life and all its adventures and find any opportunity to spend more time with his wife, Linda and his family. At his core, it was the strength, stability, and serenity he found in making connections which drove his spirit onward in our world – a spirit that will continue to inspire thousands from all walks of life.
Ehor is survived by his loving wife, Linda Gudz; his three children; Sarah Nally (spouse, John Nally), Eric Gudz and Kaitlin Lane (spouse, Alex Lane), brother, Roman Gudz (spouse, Peggy Gudz and their children, Julie Gudz and Andrew Gudz); and granddaughter, Emma Nally.
