LeeVanna Black Hodge, age 95, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on December 19, 2017. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. LeeVanna was born in Crowell, Texas on June 17, 1922 to Nettie Black. She married Ray Hodge on November11, 1942 and they moved to New Mexico with their five children in 1953. She was a meat wrapper, seamstress, and after retiring, LeeVanna went back to school and became a doll doctor. Leevanna was also an avid genealogist, who also enjoyed gardening and traveling. LeeVanna was preceded in death by her mother, Nettie Black; husband, Ray Hodge; son, Jimmy Hodge; sons-in-law, Richard Morgan and Leroy Adams; grandson, Kenneth Wayne Adams; granddaughter, Sheila Hodge and 7 other little Angels. She is survived by her children, Betty Mascarena and husband, Tino, Natha Adams and husband, Charles Keith, Ray Hodge and wife, Bridgette, Sherry Morgan and Abby New. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 14 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also had two very close friends, Louise Logan and Suzy Lucero. Services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the First Assembly of God. Interment will be at a later date.
