Obituary for Adam Michael Padilla

Adam “Illyricist” Padilla, 32 , died October 19th 2018, in Albuquerque NM. Adam resided in Albuquerque and grew up in Abo/Mountainair.

Adam Michael Padilla had many roles in this life such as; a son, nephew, brother, cousin, uncle, Godfather, friend, dad, and boyfriend. He earned a Bachelors arts degree from the University of New Mexico in 2010 double majoring in Marketing and Spanish. He was a man of many talents, wearing multiple hats both figuratively and literally- from being a songwriter/rapper, an athletic and a cowboy. The man was as charismatic as one could be, Adam was the definition of a charmer and quite creative. He would often be shy, but once he warmed up he would be a comedian with a unique sense of humor. He had a good heart but was as stubborn as an old man, getting his way majority of the time. Adam had a drive and dedication that could master any of his plans. His most recent interest of being a Harley Davidson rider is the last thing he did on this earth. Adam will be remembered forever.

Adam is preceded into death by his paternal Grandfather Elfido Padilla, maternal Grandparents Rafael and Carmen Romero, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Adam is survived by his parents Mike and Fedelina Padilla; his paternal grandmother Armelina Padilla; his girlfriend Celestina Dominguez and their children Nathaniel and Ezekiel; his brother Miguel Padilla, his wife Tiffany and their children Mikey, Jordan and his son Jeremiah, Gabriella, Nathaniel, and Marissa; his brother Mario Padilla and his daughter Aaliyah; his brother Salomon Padilla; his sister Carmen Marquez, her husband Franklin, and their children Jayden, Landon, and Ysabella; his brothers Robert John Torres, Tim Romero, and Michael Montano. He is also survived by many friends and family that loved him dearly.

Adam was a loving father, boyfriend, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Services for Adam begin on October 25th with a viewing at 6 pm and Rosary at 7 pm located at the St. Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair, NM. Funeral services will held on October 26th with a viewing at 10 am and church services beginning at 11 am. Adam will be laid to rest at the San Lorenzo church in Abo, NM following church services. Reception will be held at the Dr. Saul Community Building in Mountainair following the burial
