I first met Damien when we were in collage at UNM-VC. We became super close and spent a lot of time together way back when. I ran into him a couple of years ago and we have been in contact ever since. He was a beautiful soul. I am so deeply saddened by his passing and will never forget all the memories we share. My deepest condolences and love are sent to his children and his family. May God Bless You All❤️

We have been blessed with the honor of knowing Damien since he was about 6 years of age. The Velasquez family have been our neighbors for 32 years and we've had the pleasure of knowing all of their children. All wonderful, beautiful and a close knit family.
Damien was always the person we called to help us move big things around or house. We had good times with Damien hearing about all of the hunting excursions, etc.
He will be greatly missed by all of us who knew and loved him.
We ask that the Lord give the Velasquez family strength during this time of need.
