Elisaria “Lizzie” Trujillo, age 92, a resident of Belen, NM passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Lizzie was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. She spent many years volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul. Lizzie loved to dance, she was always happiest when she was able to attend a dance at the Senior Center or family events. She loved going on trips, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. Lizzie was preceded in death by her parents Luis and Josefita Esquibel; siblings, Manuela, Leonore, Trini, Abran and Christina; husband, Saturnino Trujillo; son, Diego Trujillo; and granddaughter, Monica Gonzales. She is survived by her sister Lena Ulibarri; her children, Joe and his wife, Theresa, Mabel and her husband, Eloy, Tony and his wife, Barbara, Dolores and her husband, Gary; grandchildren, Jason Garcia, Jonathan and his wife, Patricia, Luisa and her husband, David, Diego and his wife, Eliza, Bethany and her husband, Anthony, Bobby and his wife, Alexandra, Anthony “Buddy” Trujillo, Tiffany and her husband, Ryan, Carlo and his wife, Rebecca, Tarah and her husband, David, Mike and his wife, Karen, and Hayley Trujillo. Lizzie is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, and many special nieces, nephews, and friends. Services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Saturday, March 7, 2020. A Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Jason, Diego, Bobby, Michael, and Buddy. Honorary Pallbearer will be her great grandson Ayden Trujillo.
