Shirley Elena Samayoa, age 50, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on the 12th of March 2020 at her home in Mountainair, New Mexico. She was born on the 22th of January 1970 in Los Angeles, California to Jesus and Maria Samayoa. Shirley has worked as a Registered Nurse since 1992 after graduating from Amarillo College in Amarillo, Texas. All who have worked with her knew she was kind but spoke her mind. But will miss her political talks (Trump), the jokes, her daily devotions, her advice, but overall, her presence. She found her home in Mountainair, New Mexico in 1993, where she lovingly was involved in her church. Shirley was passionate about her relationship with her God, her family, her beloved church family, and her loyal friends. She was known to show up on your door step just say Hi. Shirley would drop anything for her family and friends when they were in need. She enjoyed nothing more than talking about her walk with her God and always encouraging other to seek HIM, and to seek him in every aspect of our lives. Shirley always said she had an amazing life and was tremendously blessed. She touched many lives with her generosity and her passion for living for Christ. She always wanted to make sure that we would all be in Heaven together for eternity. Following the footsteps of her Lord on earth she now walks beside Him in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her brother Jose Angel Samayoa of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Shirley is survived by her mother, Maria Samayoa of Claude, Texas; brother, Julio Samayoa wife, Karina and their four children, Milano, Giuliana, Alejandro, Lucas of Greenville, South Carolina; sisters, Debra Samayoa and partner, JJ Elicerio of Amarillo, Texas, Thelma Winn and husband, Carl Winn and their son, Braxten Frazier of Austin, Texas; niece, Jacquelynn Harris and her husband, Seth Harris and their sons, Mason and Conner of Ankeny, Iowa. Her funeral services will be held at Mountainair Christian Center on Monday, March 16, 2020. A viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m., with a funeral service to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mountainair Cemetery. And ye shall seek ME, and find ME, when you shall search for Me with all your HEART. Jeremiah 29:13
