Breena Alderete Obituary
Breena Cenne Alderete (Gabaldon) entered the gates of heaven into her momma's and daddy's arms on the evening of March 24, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM, at the age of 45.
She was born on June 21, 1978, in Albuquerque to the late Philbert and Lydia Gabaldon.
Breena is survived by her loving children, Evan Alderete and Easton Alderete; step-son, Dominic Alderete; and their father Edward Alderete; . She is also survived by her sister, Brenda (Duane); brother, Brandon (Amanda); her sister, Nicole (Kevin), and best friend/partner, Wilfred Lucero; along with many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. She is also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Brian Gabaldon.
Breena, known for her vibrant spirit and kind heart, will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She had an amazing infectious laugh that permeated through every room and hallway that she entered; her vivacious smile that spread joy to everyone who interacted with her. Breena was very gifted/talented in decorating for holidays; her house was a magazine showroom!! She says that she got that from her momma...the eye for design!! Breena loved the outdoors and spent many weekends fishing, camping, hiking, picking wild flowers…(sunflowers were her favorite) with her partner Wilfred.

Services for Breena will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. A visitation will take place at 9:30 am followed by a mass at 10:00 am. Inurnment will immediately follow the mass at 11:00 am.
