Robert Strasser Obituary
With heavy heart we would like to inform the community that Robert "Bob" Joseph Strasser passed away February 26, 2026 at his home in Rio Communities, New Mexico. Bob was born May 13, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois.
He is preceded in death by his parents Adrian J Strasser and Gertrude Verhaag Strasser. His brother Thomas J. Strasser and Sister Katheleen A. Strasser.
He is survived by his sister Patricia A Zyck, three children and his significant other Jackie Maese.
Bob was a veteran and served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was an avid golfer and was proud of his hole-in-one. He traveled surrounding states to attend many golf tournaments.
Bob was a football fanatic and followed his favorite football team The Chicago Bears. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR racing.
He leaves behind many lifelong friends with plenty of fun stories and memories.
Services for Robert will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel. A visitation will take place at 10:30 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am. You are invited to a luncheon following the funeral to share your stories at La Merced Moose Lodge, 306 Rio Communities Blvd. Rio Communities, New Mexico.
